You know those places where you just feel at home? Koncubine Espresso Bar or Konc as us locals affectionately know it, is one of those places.
The girls at Konc do everything to make sure every customer is 100% satisfied whether it is just a take away coffee or a sit down meal. The service is very quick and always comes with a smile. Regulars are known by name which is always a good touch. Both the food and the coffee are amazing which leads to Konc having many regulars and the place is always bustling of a morning and weekends. The simple layout with outdoor covered seating as well as a cosy little tea room provides options for all weather.
Koncubines has a great breakfast menu as well as a wide selection of sandwiches, muffins, cakes etc. Our personal favourites include the Butterscotch Muffins, Pesto Scrambled Eggs and the Eggs Benedict. The crown jewel however is the Bacon and Egg Turkish roll. I have had many Bacon and Egg rolls in my time but none can even compare to what is on offer at Konc. Full of flavour with crunchy Turkish bread, perfectly cooked bacon, egg, caramelised onion and cheese this stand out is only $9.90. The girls have their menu down to a very fine art and even at the busiest of times on the weekends, meals are delivered very quickly. We at Aqualine Apartments highly recommend Koncubine Esspresso Bar, this is our favourite Cafe on the Gold Coast.
